Search your home and yard. Many people say, why would you search our home? As a police officer, when we receive a missing person’s report, we are trained to search the missing persons home first. You would be amazed at the number of children, who were found in the home after parents searched the home. We will conduct the search of your pet, as similar as possible to how we are trained to search for missing people. We’ll search, inside your home, any place your pet is able to fit into. After an exhaustive indoor search, we’ll search the perimeter of your home.
We’ll then search your yard, behind tool sheds, your property in general, in garages, under porches, wooded areas, bushes, tarps, pools, view any video surveillance systems which may be available. We will look in, sewer drains, open manholes, under cars, and search any container or space large enough to hide, hold or trap your pet.
After we perform a complete search of your residence and property, which results in negative results, with your permission we’ll expand the search.
We’ll search your immediate neighbor’s yard, with their permission, and ask them to look in their home. It’s quite possible a capable cat could have entered your neighbors open door or window or even climbed on their roof or up their tree.
Locations: Your neighbors tool sheds, garages, under porches, under cars, in trees, wooded areas, bushes, tarps, pools, view any video surveillance systems which may be available. We will look in, and search in any container or space large enough to hide hold or trap your pet.Note: The above can only be done with your neighbors’ permission.
If the previous searches end in negative results, we’ll further expand the search, into the neighborhood, homes, additional backyards, wooded areas, nearby businesses, etc. We’ll also be handing out fliers’ door to door, with your permission.
Post fliers on, lamp post, supermarkets, high traffic areas, etc.
